DEEPWAVE
Status: Previous Work, 2016-2022. I am still the Chairman of the Board, but have stepped down from all day to day activity
In 2016 I inherited the German NGO DEEPWAVE e.V.. working on ocean conservation from my father Dr. Onno Groß. Since then I have taken part in a double leadership position for the organization, as well as being the team lead for different projects (pro-bono). The time commitment for DEEPWAVE varied significantly over the years.

Writing and working with the “Meeresoffensive 2020”, a policy paper summarizing the joint demands of German nature conservation and development aid associations for effective ocean conservation. The demands were taken up in the coalition agreement of the new German government
