We are growing up. The more we experience, the more we meet real people, the more we go out there, the less radical we become. We see violence for what it is and understand the injustice spread by those who believe they are right. We catch ourselves mid-sentence arguing for taking away children. And stop.
If you are not a revolutionary in your 20s you have no heart. If you're not conservative with 30 you haven't seen the world. So we become centrists, apolitical, cynics.
But the Truth lies not in the Center.
At least 200 thousand people were killed because we didn't develop the COVID vaccines fast enough.
Roughly 2000 people die of Malaria each day, mostly children
70 million People die each year. That's very roughly 560 million people losing their friend.
There is a worm that breeds in wounds and slowly and painfully kills the host. It will infect animals if we don't do something.
We are close to completing the machine that will kill us all. And decentralizing the button.
We lose one Galaxy each day.
Non-extremist views are for the weak. For those who hide behind rules, authority and history to justify non-intervention. Extremist views are for the angry. Those blindly trashing in the glass-house, digging their own grave. The death of a terrorist does not cause two more. It just makes the walls higher.
There is an alternative. Don't vote, but build. Act calm and break things. The world belongs to the unilateralists.
Those teachers who love their students and teach them all despite the system. Shielding them from winds trying to blow out the flames of curiosity. One at a time.
Those mothers, handing down the torch of humanity, one at the time. Despite the world having lost the will.
Those soldiers laying down their arms and building bridges, streets, connections. One at a time.
Those who grow meat, in labs. Those who make rain in the desert. Those who grow forests in the open ocean, and children in artificial wombs. Those who go to space and beyond. And those trying to live forever.
Yes, it is hard. The extremists will try to blow up your house and our economy. The bureaucrats will send you papers, rules, checks and lawsuits. But you just know, that is the price of admission. Cure Malaria. Fix climate change. End animal suffering. Solve aging. Stop antinatalism. Pause AI. Not with others, but despite of them.
The world is already a global do-ocracy. Go for it.
