Sorting everything, or the City of Life
Life is complicated, meaning it is made up of a huge number of different things; all interacting wildly with each other. A single smile can land you married in a different country, changing which dentists you can choose from, changing how your smile looks. This makes all life taxonomies (ways to sort your life areas into different buckets) kind of arbitrary (made up). Trying to create such a map should still be the first step at getting your s***t together. Why? It is the farthest away from your daily life. If “Goal Planning” or “Where do you see yourself in 5 years” are giving you a birds eye view of your life, then sorting your life into categories is buying a ticket to the ISS.
There are many ways to do this, just google “Areas of Life”. But because it’s kind of arbitrary anyway we can make it more playful, that’s why I am calling mine the “City of Life”.
